Haapaniemen Matkailu is a guest house and function venue on the shore of Lake Haapajärvi in Iisalmi, and every form of its accommodation is available all year. The rooms in the log manor completed in 2004 are about 16 square metres, each with its own shower and toilet, a television and a desk, at 120 euros a night for one or two people. Two holiday cottages built in 1991 are about 58 square metres with seven beds each, a wood-stove sauna, a shower room, a kitchen-living room with a dishwasher, a fireplace, and a shallow sandy beach with a rowing boat. Villa Haapaniemi, completed in 2013 and measuring 170 square metres, sleeps twelve in six bedrooms and comes with its own sandy beach, a pier, a rowing boat and a small island reached by boat. The house's pride is its smoke sauna, and breakfast can be added to any stay for 15 euros per person. The Ylä-Savon Golfseura course is about 13 kilometres away.
