What data we collect
We only collect what you provide through our forms: name, email address, optional phone number, message, requested dates and group size (availability inquiries and bookings), cottage details (owner listing and claim forms), and email address and language (notification subscriptions). Our service providers additionally collect technical server logs for site operation and security.
Purposes and legal bases
Availability inquiries and booking requests are processed to prepare and perform a contract. Notifications about new properties are sent based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Owner listings are processed on the basis of contract and legitimate interest.
Cookies
The site uses only essential cookies: a cookie that stores your language choice. We use no tracking, analytics or advertising cookies and no third-party tracking technologies. For this reason the site does not need a cookie banner.
Retention
We keep data only as long as its purpose requires. Notification subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Inquiry and booking data is kept for the duration of the matter and any statutory obligations (e.g. accounting).
Processors and transfers
Data is processed on our behalf under contract by Supabase (database) and Vercel (site hosting). We never sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing. Availability inquiry details are forwarded to the owner of the cottage in question so they can respond.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict and object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time by contacting info@golfmokit.fi. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman of Finland, tietosuoja.fi.
Directory listings
Directory listing information is based on public sources and mostly concerns businesses. A property owner can claim their listing, correct its details or request its removal at any time: info@golfmokit.fi.
