Huvila Vuononhelmi is a 107-square-metre villa on the shore of Jänijärvi, a fjord-like bay of Lake Pyhäjärvi at Nokia, about 32 kilometres from Tampere. The ground floor has three separate bedrooms, a kitchen and the sauna rooms, while upstairs a 25-square-metre loft room holds a TV corner and sofa beds for four plus a low alcove that takes four more on mattresses — beds for a good ten people in all. The water at the end of the pier is about a metre and a half deep and the shore is clear of vegetation, so setting off for a swim is easy; the lake is fished for pike and other species at depths of over ten metres. The villa is let by Helmi Lomahuvilat, which runs a second property of the same kind, Vuolteenhelmi, in Sastamala. The Nokia River Golf course is about 11 kilometres away.
