Ihala Camping

Island Spirit rents out the island of Ykspetäjäinen in the Uusikaupunki archipelago: the whole 2.2-hectare private island is for the guests alone, and the nearest neighbour lives on the next island. There is no road to the island; guests are taken over in the hostess's boat for 15 euros a person each way, and the sea crossing from the centre of Uusikaupunki is about five kilometres. The island has three small cabins and a tent, sleeping eight. Facilities include a wood-heated log sauna built in 2012, solar electricity, a gas stove and a composting outdoor toilet; there is no running water, so the hostess supplies drinking water and washing is done with sea and rain water. A small rowing boat is available. The minimum stay is two nights, the owner's prices start at 240 euros, and pets are allowed. The owner has confirmed that golfers are welcome. The Uudenkaupungin Golfklubi clubhouse is about 6.5 kilometres away as the crow flies,.

Santtioranta Camping is a seaside campsite about a kilometre from the centre of Uusikaupunki, with seven rental cabins overlooking the sea. The Uudenkaupungin Golfklubi course is a couple of kilometres away.
