Kaisla

Kaisla is a log villa on the shore of Vanajavesi in Hattula, completed in the spring of 2007, right beside the Tenhola ridge at the end of the cottage road in the crook of the headland. The total area is 135 square metres and the floor area 108: downstairs there is a kitchen-living room, two bedrooms, a toilet, a small changing room, a washroom and a wood-heated sauna for four or five, and upstairs a sleeping loft. The larger bedroom has a double bed and the smaller two single beds, the loft two beds and a sofa bed; the maximum is six adults and two children. The villa has waterborne underfloor heating, and firewood and wireless internet are included in the rent. The large terrace has garden furniture, the villa's own shore is 25 metres away, and from May to October a gas grill stands on the terrace. The yard is sanded and lit all the way to the jetty, and the view is north-west straight across Vanajanselkä. At the shore there is a jetty, a rowing boat and a fire pit, and the shore is shallow and muddy. The nearest neighbour is the Lumme cottage about 150 metres away, with trees between them blocking the line of sight. Kaisla holds a five-star official Malo classification. The owner's rates are 420 euros for one or two nights and 830 for a week, an extra night 120 euros; in June, July and August and over Christmas and New Year it is let by the week only at 1,250 euros, with Saturday changeover in the summer season. Final cleaning is included. The Lepaa Golf clubhouse is about 5.2 kilometres away as the crow flies.
