Kokkopellon lomatalot has two winterised log cabins, Tuomon tupa and Jaakon maja, in the village of Koutaniemi in Kajaani. Each is sized for four guests with extra beds for children; the cabins are within sight of each other on the shores of two ponds, one of them with a shared swimming spot. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and kettle plus cooking utensils and basic tableware for six, the washroom a shower cabin and a washing machine, and guests also have their own grill spots and a rowing boat. Rates run from 490 to 680 euros a week depending on season, the shortest rental is two nights, and linen, towels and made-up beds are included.
