Savotta Resort is a cottage village and camping area at the mouth of the Kemijoki river on Vähä Kuivanuorontie. For rent there are three kota cabins, three small cabins and the two larger lodges Villen pirtti and Jussin pirtti; the kota cabins have electricity, water and sewerage, their own toilet, a fridge, a microwave, a kettle, an induction hob and a coffee maker, and sleep two adults below and two children or one adult above. The site has a beach sauna, a sauna for hire and the catering restaurant Savupirtti, and guests can swim or arrive by boat. The Kemin Golf Klubi course is about 5.9 kilometres away.

Hotelli Merihovi is a city-centre hotel on Keskuspuistokatu built between 1946 and 1949, with everything from single rooms to suites and family rooms. Published rates start at 88 euros for a single, 108 euros for a twin, 125 euros for a double and 160 euros for a suite, and an evening sauna and breakfast are included. Several restaurants work in the building, among them Café & Bar Ankkuri and Ravintola Pursiseura, and pets are accepted in designated rooms. The hotel sells its own golf package at 112 to 150 euros a night. The Kemin Golf Klubi course is about 1.7 kilometres away.
