Paltamon Pappila is a newly renovated vicarage that has also been opened for guests and sleeps ten in total. The room options are a double with its own bathroom at 149 euros a night, a double with shared washing facilities at 129 euros and a single at 105 euros, with use of the bathroom and the indoor sauna included. Breakfast costs 14 euros per person, extra towels and robes 5 euros and an extra bed 25 euros per person. An outdoor sauna and a hot tub can be rented from neighbouring Kotolinna, and rates may vary in high season, meaning holiday weeks and June to August. The Paltamon Golf course is about 1.4 kilometres away.

Majatalo Kotolinna is a guesthouse on the riverbank in the centre of Paltamo village. It has single and twin rooms and a family room, and guests can also book the whole upstairs apartment, the downstairs rooms or the entire house; both floors have lounge and dining space and a kitchen with cookware. Bathing is in three rain-shower washrooms and an indoor sauna, and the separately bookable wood-heated yard sauna has an outdoor hot tub looking onto the river. Breakfast is available for bookings of at least two people or two nights, pets are welcome for a 15-euro fee, and the rate includes one hour of the indoor sauna per room per night. The Paltamon Golf course is about 1.2 kilometres away.

The golf club rents two lodgings of its own right beside the clubhouse at Golftie 13. Kymppi-Klubi is a 100-square-metre unit for six with three twin bedrooms, an open kitchen and living area, a sauna, two toilets and a terrace facing the lake. Klubi-Studio is 50 square metres for two to four guests, with one bedroom plus a sofa bed, an open kitchen, a sauna and its own toilet and shower. Published rates are from 299 euros a night on weekdays for Kymppi-Klubi (two-night minimum) and from 590 euros for a two-night weekend, with 230 and 400 euros for Klubi-Studio; guests staying over pay 45 euros a day for the green fee.
