Holiday Club Ähtäri offers holiday apartments and log cabins with private saunas in the Moksunniemi area of Ähtäri, close to the zoo. The Ähtärin Golf course is in the same area on Lake Moksunjärvi.

Ähtäri Camping is a campsite on a 12-hectare site along Karhunkierros by the shore of Lake Hankavesi. It rents Hirvi cottages all year round and has pitches for motorhomes, caravans and tents. Two service buildings hold showers, toilets, kitchens and washing machines, and there is a beach sauna, a beach volleyball court, a playground, grill shelters and a paved track for children; a hot tub can be rented separately. The reception is self-service: guests who book in the web shop receive door codes and arrival instructions in advance. The Ähtärin Golf course is about 2.0 kilometres away.

Ähtärin Lomamökit rents out two cottages on Moksunsalontie, both completed in December 2012 and each sleeping up to six guests all year round. Each cottage has two bedrooms and a sleeping loft, a sauna, underfloor heating, mechanical ventilation, a fully equipped kitchen, a dishwasher and a washing machine, and a ramp leads to the door. A week costs 600 to 900 euros in high season and 420 to 690 euros outside it, and the final cleaning is always included. The cottages are non-smoking and pets are not allowed. The Ähtärin Golf course is about 0.4 kilometres away.
