Hotelli Kivitippu is a hotel on the shore of Lake Lappajärvi with a sauna and pool area and a restaurant. The Järviseudun Golfseura course is about half a kilometre away.

Ähtäri Camping is a campsite on a 12-hectare site along Karhunkierros by the shore of Lake Hankavesi. It rents Hirvi cottages all year round and has pitches for motorhomes, caravans and tents. Two service buildings hold showers, toilets, kitchens and washing machines, and there is a beach sauna, a beach volleyball court, a playground, grill shelters and a paved track for children; a hot tub can be rented separately. The reception is self-service: guests who book in the web shop receive door codes and arrival instructions in advance. The Ähtärin Golf course is about 2.0 kilometres away.

Hiekkaranta B&B is a bed and breakfast on Aurinkorannantie by the shore of Lake Kuortaneenjärvi. It has six double rooms, two family rooms and one triple room, and it also rents two two-person loft huts where a dog or a cat may come along. Haapaniemen Hiippakuntakartano is a course and function manor on the shore of Lake Kuortaneenjärvi in the village of Ruona, owned by the parishes of the Diocese of Lapua since 1968. It sleeps about 60 guests in renovated guest rooms and also has meeting rooms and a dining hall refurbished in 2008. The manor hosts meetings, staff away-days and family celebrations.
