Golf cottages

Santalahti Resort is a seaside holiday resort on Mussalo island in Kotka, offering holiday cottages, villas, glass igloos and a camping area. The Kymen Golf course is on the same island, about 200 metres away.

Keto-Mökit rents ten cottages beside a clear-water river at Verla in Kouvola, on the stretch between two rapids. The cottages are called Rantakelo, Kesäranta, Ketoniemi, Koli, Kelo, Niemi, Makuuaitta, Jokitörmä, Kylpypalju and Kimara, and each has its own sauna, its own grilling spot and an electric stove, microwave, kettle, fridge-freezer, television and CD player. A boat for the water above the rapids is included, and a rowing boat or bicycles can be hired as well. The cottages are in use all year: in summer they are let by the week or longer, in winter for shorter stays too, and a pet may come along when agreed with the owner in advance. The UNESCO World Heritage site of the Verla mill museum is about five kilometres away and the services of Jaala village about six. The Lampila Golf course is about 2.7 kilometres away.

Vaalimaa Camping is a small year-round campsite by the sea in Virolahti, offering rental cabins and a shallow beach suitable for children. The Kaakon Golf course is a few kilometres away.

Rantakari is a seaside cottage at Tiutinen in Kotka for up to eight guests. It has a wood-heated sauna for three or four, a heated glazed terrace seating eight, a private dock and a rowing boat, and it is usable all year thanks to electric heating, an air-source heat pump and a fireplace. The published prices are 150 to 230 euros for a weekday night and 910 to 1,500 euros for a week, with pets at 10 euros a night, bed linen at 20 euros per person and the final clean at 120 to 160 euros. The Kymen Golf course is about 7.4 kilometres away.

Break Sokos Hotel Tykkimäki Resort (formerly Tykkimäki Camping) is a resort on the shore of Lake Käyrälampi in Kouvola, next to the Tykkimäki amusement park, with hotel rooms, holiday and camping cabins and caravan pitches year round. The Koski-Golf course is less than ten kilometres away.

Villa Koskenäyräs is a manor villa at Kaukola in Kotka with eight bedrooms, 20 beds and room for up to 80 party guests. By the water there is a sauna and two outdoor hot tubs, and pets are welcome by agreement. The villa is open all year and sits right on the riverbank. According to the owner the villa costs from 1,395 euros a night, and the 3,490-euro Party Package covers the whole villa for 20 guests plus the beach sauna on the day of the party at no extra charge; terms for renting the beach sauna and hot tubs separately are on the villa's own price page. The Kymen Golf course is about 7.8 kilometres away.

Oravasalmen huvilat lets four villas on the shore of clean Lake Suolajärvi in Kouvola: Oravalinna for eight people, Oravasalmi for ten, Oravahovi for ten and Oravakolo for eight, each with two bedrooms. Villa Oravasalmi sits at the tip of the peninsula and is the only one that takes pets, on notice at booking; the other villas are kept suitable for allergy sufferers. The grounds hold a traditional Finnish smoke sauna, which can be hired separately for birthdays, stag and hen parties or a wellness day. The property is open all year. Repovesi National Park is about 20 kilometres away and the UNESCO World Heritage site of Verla about 15 kilometres by road or 4.5 kilometres by water. The Lampila Golf course is about 8.4 kilometres away.
