Belek, east of Antalya, is the golf centre of Turkey: this catalogue lists 8 golf clubs with 225 holes in total on the coastal strip between Kadriye and Belek. Belek is one of the most contested destinations for Finnish golf packages — in the Golfpiste reader panel (11/2024, n = 1 019) 46 % of those planning to play abroad named Turkey — and almost every course belongs to an all-inclusive hotel, so private holiday lets are scarce. From November to March daytime temperatures in Antalya are around 15–22 °C and nights around 5–10 °C; rainfall is 95–270 mm a month with 8–13 rain days a month, most in December and January (climatestotravel.com). Finnair lists a Helsinki–Antalya route on its destination page, and Aurinkomatkat and Tjäreborg sell Antalya-area package holidays from Helsinki on charter or scheduled flights; the drive from the airport to Belek takes about 30–45 minutes. The Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs travel advice (um.fi, 12 August 2026) rates Turkey "exercise particular caution"; travel is to be avoided in the border regions with Syria, Iraq and Iran.
