Emirates Golf Club, next to the Emirates Hills residential estate, is Dubai's oldest grass course and has two 18-hole championship layouts: the Majlis (par 72, 7,301 yards), opened in 1988, and the Faldo (par 72, 7,052 yards), opened in 1996. The Majlis hosts the DP World Tour's Dubai Desert Classic. A 9-hole par-3 academy course is not counted in the hole total.
