Campo de Golfe das Furnas is the oldest golf course in the Azores, at Furnas in the municipality of Povoação on São Miguel. The original nine holes were completed in 1936 to a Mackenzie Ross design and the course was extended to 18 holes in 1992 under Cameron Powell. It is run by Azores Golf Islands, which also operates the Batalha and Terceira courses.
