Wermdö Golf & Country Club is at Torpavägen 5–7 in Värmdö, about 23 km east of central Stockholm in the Stockholm archipelago. The course has 18 holes and is a narrow parkland and woodland layout with a par of 71 and a length of 5,745 metres from the white tee; it was originally designed by Nils Sköld. By the club's own description the first nine holes run through hilly archipelago terrain between rock outcrops and pine woods close to Grisslingeviken, while the back nine is more open and the water hazards between holes 11 and 16 are central to play there. The club says it has been in operation since 1966, and besides golf the site has a tennis court, a pool, a gym and a guest harbour. The visitor green fee tops out at SEK 1,100 (about €99) at weekends; visitors are welcome on weekdays and at weekends after 13:00.
