A golf trip to Kymenlaakso

Kymenlaakso is not a single-base golf region: its courses and accommodation group into three separate hubs around the Kymijoki river and the Gulf of Finland. On Kotka's Mussalo island the cottage and the course are neighbours, at Kouvola's Tykkimäki it is a seven-kilometre drive from the campsite to the course, and in Virolahti you play right by the eastern border. Kotka: a cottage right by the course on Mussalo
On Mussalo island in Kotka, Santalahti Resort is only about 170 metres from Kymen Golf, an 18-hole course founded in 1964. That distance is on par with the closest properties in our entire catalog — you can walk from breakfast to the tee in a few minutes.
Kouvola: Tykkimäki and Koski-Golf on the Kymijoki river
Break Sokos Hotel Tykkimäki Resort on the shore of Lake Käyrälampi is about 7.5 km from Koski-Golf, which plays in the Kymijoki river landscape at Kuusankoski. If one 18-hole round is not enough, a second course, the 9-hole Lampila Golf, is about 18 km from the same property.
Virolahti: golf right on the eastern border
Vaalimaa Camping by the sea in Virolahti is about 5.9 km from Kaakon Golf, a 9-hole course that plays right by Finland's eastern border. It is the southeasternmost golf destination in our catalog, and pairs well with a trip along the border region.
Three hubs, not one base
