Golf cottages

Klingbergs Stugor is a small cottage village in the Kastelholm area of Sund in the Åland Islands, with six cabins, a villa and a beach sauna. The cottages stand in forest along Frukustkullevägen, about 350 metres from the nearest green; the Ålands Golfklubb clubhouse is 980 metres away.

Kulebo is a pair of identical guest houses at Kastelholm in Sund, by the sea on the shore of Slottsundet. The houses Forest and Beach each have 126 square metres, three double bedrooms — the master with an ensuite bathroom and a walk-in wardrobe, the other two sharing a bathroom — plus a TV room with a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, a laundry with washing machine and dryer, and a 75-square-metre wrap-around terrace with a grill. A house sleeps six comfortably and seven or eight at a push. Bed linen, towels, the final clean and fast wireless internet are included, and guests share a ten-metre swimming pool and a sauna by the sea, both booked with the host. There is a chipping and putting area in front of the houses, and a boat on the owner's fishing waters for experienced anglers. The Ålands Golfklubb clubhouse is about 1.3 kilometres away. The nearest hole is some 140 metres from the houses.

Eckerö Hotell & Restaurang is a hotel on Käringsundsvägen close to the sea with 40 non-smoking rooms and 134 beds in all; nine of the rooms are spacious family rooms and several are accessible. Every room has a shower, WC, fridge and television, the 'Taste of Åland' breakfast is included, and the house has a restaurant, two saunas for hire and conference and event rooms; the hotel also sells a golf package. Animals are not accepted. The Kyrkoby Golfklubb course is about 3.3 kilometres away.

Käringsunds Camping is a campsite at Käringsund on the north-west shore of Eckerö that opened in 1960 and has been in the Eriksson family ever since. It has sleeping cabins for two and four people with bunk beds, a fridge and a coffee maker, with WC and showers in a shared service building, plus caravan, motorhome and tent pitches, a playground and a communal kitchen; pets are allowed. The Kyrkoby Golfklubb course is about 3.8 kilometres away.

EDENs Stugor is an 18-cabin holiday village in Sund by the sea: ten 56 m² Eden A cabins and eight 49 m² Eden B cabins, each with two bedrooms for four people, a terrace, sea view, shower and WC. The grounds have a bathing beach of rock and sand, a shore sauna rented by the hour and motorboats, and pets are allowed in some cabins; the minimum booking is two nights. Ålands Idrottscenter at Godby is a sports centre whose hostel occupies a former school building: single and double rooms, rooms for three to eight people and dormitory beds, with linen and a towel always included in the price. Guests have a kitchen for cooking their own meals, a lounge and shared showers and toilets in the corridor, and the same site holds a swimming hall with eight 25-metre lanes, a sports hall, a gym and conference rooms. The Ålands Golfklubb clubhouse is about 4.9 kilometres away as the crow flies, roughly 7.5 km by road according to the hostel. Björnhofvda Gård is a small country hotel in eastern Eckerö run by Hans and Jackie, with room for about twenty guests. Its restaurant is open to non-residents as well and cooks from locally produced and organic ingredients, and there is a wine cellar, a bar and rooms for conferences and celebrations; the bedrooms have private bathrooms and breakfast is included. The house is open from May to September, children under 10 are not accepted, and dogs are housed only in the suite buildings for a fee. The Kyrkoby Golfklubb course is about 5.2 kilometres away.

Kvarnbo Pensionat is a guesthouse in an 1800s manor building at Kvarnbo in Saltvik, with eight rooms and a courtyard apartment for three or four people. Every room has its own shower, toilet and air conditioning, and linen, towels and breakfast are included; the yard has a wood-fired sauna bookable by the hour and grills to borrow, and the house runs wine tastings. The Ålands Golfklubb course is about 5.6 kilometres away.

Eckerö Camping & Stugor is a campsite at Skag in northern Eckerö whose rental cabins come in eight types: the smallest are 20–35 m² cabins for two, the largest a 56 m² holiday house with its own sauna building for six. The cabins have a kitchen, a terrace with outdoor furniture and their own parking space, the beds are made up and the final clean is included; the site has a restaurant, an adventure golf course and a disc golf park as well as motorhome, caravan and tent pitches, and pets are welcome for a fee. Degersandsvägens Stugor is a group of four rental cabins at Torp in Eckerö, about 700 metres from the sandy beach at Degersand. The cabins Ottebo, Lyckebo, Enebo and Granebo each have two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a terrace with outdoor furniture and a grill, and a rowing boat per cabin is included in the price; Ottebo and Lyckebo also have their own electric sauna. The cabins are open all year, in winter on request, and pets may come along if mentioned at booking; the property is run by Servicetjänster Åland Ab, which also lets the Herrö Stugor cabins in Lemland. Gästhem Jomala Gård is a guesthouse in Jomala with 24 rooms and about 40 beds: singles, doubles and family rooms, each with its own toilet, while the showers are shared. Linen and towels are included, guests share a kitchen, a lounge, a grill spot and a bathing place as well as a sauna and laundry for a fee, and a wood-fired beach sauna at Jomalaviken can be booked separately; pets are allowed for a surcharge. Stenlagd uteplats finns längs husets södra vägg där det är underbart att bara slappa en varm sommardag. Teak utemöblerna används flitigt utomhus. Bastun är vedeldad med tillgång till ved från boden på tomten. Separat duschrum finns i anslutning till bastun. Slutstädning och sänglinne fås mot ersättning.
