The Costa del Sol in Málaga province, southern Spain, is Europe's densest golf coast: from Sotogrande to east of Málaga there are more than 70 golf facilities, of which this catalogue lists those with at least 18 holes. From November to March daytime temperatures are typically around 17 °C and nights around 8 °C, with about six rain days a month. Finnair and Norwegian fly Helsinki–Málaga (AGP) and airBaltic flies Tampere–Málaga. An estimated 25,000–30,000 Finns winter around Fuengirola, and Finnish-language services are available locally.
