Paarl Golf Club was founded in 1908 as a nine-hole links in the centre of Paarl and moved in 1955 to its present site at Suider-Paarl on the banks of the Berg River, where 18 holes were built; the Boschenmeer golf estate added another nine in 1997, and according to the site the club was the first 27-hole course in the Western Cape. The three nines can be combined into different 18-hole rounds, with bent greens and kikuyu fairways. The club welcomes visitors; green fees distinguish associated and non-associated golfers, and the rate sheets are downloads.
