Golf courses and places to stay: Stockholm

Stockholm itself and the municipalities next to it — Solna, Lidingö, Danderyd, Nacka, Järfälla and Sollentuna — hold 14 courses in this catalogue with 216 holes between them. The closest are Lidingö Golfklubb, 6.3 km north-east of Sergels torg, and Björkhagens Golfklubb 6.9 km to the south-east; the furthest is Rotebro Golf, 19.9 km to the north-west. Eight courses lie within ten kilometres of the centre as the crow flies, and five of those are nine-hole courses. According to the clubs' own rate cards the visitor green fee runs from SEK 250 to SEK 1,400 (about €22–126). Three courses — GolfStar Bromma, GolfStar Hässelby and Rotebro Golf — publish no highest ordinary visitor rate at all, only a floor, so no price is recorded for them. The area also has Årsta Golf, which by its own description is a practice facility with no playable course, and Hellasgården, where the game is football golf; neither is in this catalogue. There are no Swedish cottages in the catalogue yet — an owner can add one free of charge.
