Viksjö Golfklubb plays at Fjällens Gård in Järfälla municipality, about 16.3 km north-west of central Stockholm. The club has an 18-hole and a nine-hole course, 27 holes in all, each with its own green-fee table. By the club's history the land is old farmland belonging to Fjällen and Skylsta; the first nine holes were playable in August 1970, the club took over Fjällens Gård as its clubhouse in 1969, and construction of the nine-hole course began in 1995 to drawings by the architect Sune Linde. There is also an 11th-century rune carving on the course, behind the green on hole 14. The visitor green fee tops out at SEK 995 (about €89) on the 18-hole course at weekends; the weekend rate on the nine is SEK 325.
