Sollentuna Golfklubb plays at Skillingegården in Sollentuna municipality, about 18.4 km north-west of central Stockholm, in the corner between the E4 motorway and the Stäketleden. By the club's own account it was formed in 1967 and admitted to the Swedish Golf Federation as club number 112, and its 18-hole course was inaugurated by Prince Bertil on 16 September 1972. The club describes the course as a quick-playing, well-kept parkland course. The tee markings are 43, 49, 54, 59 and 62, and the club explains that the number reflects the length of the course from that tee in hundreds of metres. Green fees are differentiated by demand: the visitor green fee tops out at SEK 1,100 (about €99) at weekends between 08:00 and 16:00, and a nine-hole green fee of SEK 400-500 is sold after 16:00.
