Ullna Golf & Country Club is on the northern shore of lake Ullnasjön at Åkersberga in Österåker municipality, about 18.8 km north of central Stockholm. By the club's own account the course was realised by Sven Tumba and inaugurated on 27 August 1981; thirty years later Jack Nicklaus and Nicklaus Design upgraded it, and the new Ullna reopened on 8 June 2013 with the old routing preserved but entirely new tees, landing areas and green complexes. The club calls the course a championship course and a round is 18 holes; Ullnasjön is in play on holes 4, 5, 6, 16 and 17 among others. The handicap limit is 30 for women and 24 for men, and the green fee includes the day's lunch, a starter kit, the short-game area, the locker rooms and a trolley. The visitor green fee tops out at SEK 2,795 (about €251).
