Roslagen — Vaxholm, Täby, Vallentuna, Österåker and Norrtälje, north and north-east of Stockholm — is the county's densest golf area: 18 courses in this catalogue with 393 holes between them. The nearest is Waxholms Golfklubb, 12.6 km north-east of Sergels torg, and the furthest Hallstavik Golfklubb, 83.9 km to the north. The largest single site is GolfStar Lindö at Vallentuna, with 45 holes across three courses. According to the clubs' own rate cards the green fee runs from SEK 440 to SEK 2,795 (about €40–251), the top figure being Ullna Golf & Country Club's, which is also the highest in this whole Stockholm catalogue. Six courses publish no highest ordinary visitor rate. The area also had Dillingby golfbana, which closed in 2011; the old domains of Rosenkälla GK and Nifsta GK have passed to unrelated use and neither club has a live site of its own, so none of the three is in this catalogue.
