Sundsta Golf is on the Sundsta Säteri estate at Norrtälje, about 55 km north-east of central Stockholm. By the course's own description the 18-hole course is par 73 and runs through Roslagen countryside with plenty of natural water and abundant wildlife; the club's stated aim is to become "Sweden's best-value golf course". There is also a nine-hole pay&play course with five par-3 and four par-4 holes at full length — 27 counted holes in all. The same estate also runs folkrace, hunting, shooting and paintball activities and conferences, and has lodging and a restaurant, so golf is one part of a multi-activity site. The visitor green fee for 18 holes is SEK 450 on weekdays and at most SEK 550 (about €49) at weekends and on public holidays; the nine-hole course costs SEK 200, which covers two rounds.
