GolfStar Lindö is at Vallentuna, about 26 km north of central Stockholm, and the operator calls it the largest golf facility in Stockholm. It has 45 holes on three courses: Lindö Dal and Lindö Äng are 18-hole courses and Lindö Park has nine. Park used to be an 18-hole course, but its first nine were built too low and suffered from standing water, so those holes were closed. Golf started at Lindö in 1984 and the business grew into Huvudstadens golfklubb in 1997 and later into GolfStar; Huvudstadens GK still exists as a club in its own right whose members play GolfStar's courses. GolfStar publishes only a from-price on its site — a summer green fee from SEK 350 on Park and Äng and SEK 525 on Dal — with the actual price set in the Sweetspot booking system, so no highest visitor green fee is published.
