Stockholm itself and the municipalities next to it — Solna, Lidingö, Danderyd, Nacka, Järfälla and Sollentuna — hold 14 courses in this catalogue with 216 holes between them. The closest are Lidingö Golfklubb, 6.4 km north-east of Sergels torg, and Björkhagens Golfklubb the same distance to the south-east; the furthest is Rotebro Golf, 19.7 km to the north-west. Eight courses lie within ten kilometres of the centre as the crow flies, and five of those are nine-hole courses. According to the clubs' own rate cards the visitor green fee runs from SEK 250 to SEK 1,400 (about €22–126). Three courses — GolfStar Bromma, GolfStar Hässelby and Rotebro Golf — publish no highest ordinary visitor rate at all, only a floor, so no price is recorded for them. The largest single site is GolfStar Lindö at Vallentuna, with 45 holes across three courses. According to the clubs' own rate cards the green fee runs from SEK 440 to SEK 2,795 (about €40–251), the top figure being Ullna Golf & Country Club's, which is also the highest in this whole Stockholm catalogue. Six courses publish no highest ordinary visitor rate. The area also had Dillingby golfbana, which closed in 2011; the old domains of Rosenkälla GK and Nifsta GK have passed to unrelated use and neither club has a live site of its own, so none of the three is in this catalogue.

Stockholm Archipelago

Värmdö municipality, in the inner archipelago, holds 4 courses in this catalogue with 90 holes between them: Ingarö Golfklubb, which has two 18-hole courses, and Wermdö Golf & Country Club, Norråva Golfklubb and Fågelbro Golf & Country Club, each of 18 holes. All four lie 22.4–28.6 km east of Sergels torg as the crow flies, closer to the centre than many mainland courses. The archipelago courses are reached along the Värmdöleden road; Ingarö and Fågelbro are on bridges, so no ferry is needed.

Södertörn — Huddinge, Botkyrka, Salem, Tyresö, Haninge, Nynäshamn, Södertälje and Nykvarn, south and south-west of Stockholm — covers 14 courses and 351 holes in this catalogue. The nearest is Ågesta Golfklubb, 12.1 km south of Sergels torg, and the furthest Kallfors Golf at Järna, 39.0 km to the south-west. Three sites here run to 36 holes: HaningeStrand Golfklubb, Nynäshamns Golfklubb and Vidbynäs Golf. According to the clubs' own rate cards the green fee runs from SEK 450 to SEK 1,295 (about €40–116), but seven courses price dynamically and publish no ceiling, so no price is recorded for them. Österhaninge Golfklubb and Järna Golf appear as separate features in the map data, but they are HaningeStrand's Husbybanan and the nine-hole course at Kallfors rather than clubs of their own; Södertörns Golfklubb has no live site of its own.

Four courses publish no highest ordinary visitor rate on their own site. Arlanda makes the area easy to reach from Finland: Arlandastad Golf is 32.4 km from the centre and Sigtuna Golfklubb 39.9 km.
